The Validus Group has built up and developed large retail chains in Norway specializing in the sale of personal care, beauty, health and wellness products. This is done through our retail trademarks: Esthetique, Parfymelle, Vita and Life.

Cosmetic Group
Cosmetic Group AS was founded in 2003 to buy the chains Vita and Esthetique from Reitangruppen.  Validus owns this company along with Norgesgruppen, Parfymelle and the leading management in Vita and Esthetique.

VITA
Vita is a drugstore chain offering personal care and wellness products such as cosmetics, hair and skin care. There are 93 VITA stores in Norway. In 2006 the annual turnover was 441 million NOK.

Esthetique
Esthetique was established in September 1993 and is Norway’s leading perfumery chain with 70 boutiques and 450 employees. It also has stores in Denmark and franchises in the Baltic countries.  Annual turnover in 2004 was 409 million NOK.

Parfymelle
Parfymelle was founded in 1974 and is one of Norway’s oldest and leading names in the business.  The chain today consists of 102 shops that are run by independent merchants. Its annual turnover in 2004 was 395 million NOK.

Cosmeta - Fagkjøp-Ringen AS
Cosmeta - Fagkjøp - Ringen ASis a perfumery chain in two parts with 120 menbers and 240 million NOK in annual turnover. 66 members are profiled as Cosmeta with 165 million NOK in annual turnover. Cosmeta is a life style chain for most people. In this chain you will find small and medium size shops “at the corner” all over the country, run by independent merchants.

Life - leading health food and lifestyle chain in Scandinavia
Life Butikkdrift AS (Life Retail) is fully owned by Validus AS. Life Health and Wellness shops were established in January 2000 and today are one of the country’s largest specialty chains in Norway providing natural products, supplements, herbal remedies and natural foods.  It has over 160 stores spread throughout the country.
