Validus Engros is a wholly owned company, part of Validus. This company distributes goods to businesses in which Validus has ownership interests, but it also operates as a traditional wholesalers for independent stores. The company also offers its customers specially adapted distribution solutions and also works as a throughflow warehouse for a number of health food and specialist hygiene chains.

Helios Engros

Helios was founded in 1969 and sells ecological and biodynamic foods, as well as natural cosmetics, natural textiles, detergents and arts and crafts materials. When the Helios Agricultural and Natural Products foundation and the company Helios Distribusjon AS went bankrupt in April 2008, Validus entered into an agreement with the administrators concerning continuation of the running of Helios through the newly launched company Helios Engros AS. Helios Engros merged with Alternativ Mat AS in 2009.
